In early March, Craig Simme, Operations Manager and one of T. O’Donnell Landscaping’s longest tenured employees, earned the prestigious title of Certified Nursery & Landscape Professional (CNLP). The Certified Nursery & Landscape Professional Program is an intensive, ongoing educational program designed to increase the skills of garden and landscape employees. The program was designed by members of the nursery and landscape industry with assistance from Cornell University. CNLPs are trained in a wide range of subjects, including plant pests and diseases, weeds and weed control, soils, fertilizer, pruning, and much more
As a CNLP, Simme joins an elite group of green industry professionals dedicated to continuing their education and growing as professionals. He is adding this credential to his existing certification from the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), making him an expert in all things outdoor living, and a valuable member of our team!
